He says, “The yield in the cultivation of black rice is less, but its price and demand is so high that the profit is much more than other crops. Today his annual income has reached 1 to 10 lakh rupees. His success shows that even small beginnings can bring about big changes.

Ramashraay believes that farming is not just a means of livelihood, it is a lifesaver. He says, “If we adopt organic farming, not only will our crop be better, but our land, water and environment will also be safe.”

Ramashraay believes that the time from October to February is most suitable for black rice cultivation. This is a crop that gives more profit at low cost. While growing it, special attention is paid to the fertility of the land and the environment.
