The purpose of this app is to help Indian farmers make decisions on crops. On this app, information is provided to the farmers in the form of written, audio and video formats. You can also get information by calling the helpline number given in this app.

This agriculture app allows farmers to talk directly to agriculture experts by messaging. There is a chat option in this app itself, so that you can directly connect with agriculture experts and get information about your crop. Through this app, many important information related to crop cultivation, its maintenance, fish farming, animal husbandry, etc. is provided to the farmers. Many videos related to farming are also available on this, so that farmers can get information about how to adopt modern technology in farming.

Kheti-badi 

Presently the agriculture sector is heavily dependent on many modern crop varieties, chemical pesticides and fertilisers. This app gives information to farmers about adopting organic farming. Its aim is to promote organic farming. Through this app, farmers can learn many new things like how to do organic farming and how to make organic manure. Also, if you have any problem related to farming, you can take a picture of it and send it with your name and phone number. This app is available in Hindi, English, Marathi language.

Krishi Gyan

Through this agri-app, farmers can get every small and big information related to farming by visiting the ‘Gyan Kendra’ option. Also, you can get any information related to crops, horticulture, vegetables and livestock from experts. In this, select the information related to which you want and write about it and then put the picture. Questions are answered through notifications in the app itself. Through this video, farmers can learn about the modern techniques of growing crops, from pest prevention and organic methods of making pesticides.

Meghdoot App

Meghdoot mobile app was jointly launched by India Meteorological Department, Indian Institute of Tropical Meteorology and ICAR. The app provides weather-based agricultural advice to farmers, including crops and livestock, in the local language. The information on this app is updated twice a week i.e. Tuesday and Friday. It is available in 13 languages. Meghdoot app provides forecast related to temperature, rainfall, humidity and wind speed direction.

Crop Insurance 

This Agri-app gives farmers many types of information about crop insurance. Through this app, farmers can get information related to crop insurance such as lump sum payment amount, premium, subsidy amount. In this app you can also report your crop loss. Right now this app is available only in Hindi, English and Marathi language.
