How did you start making decorative items from the dung of indigenous cow?

Karan Singh tells that he started making decorative items from cow dung, because the dung of indigenous cow is easily available. He told that he buys cow dung from cow-herders at the rate of 5 rupees per kg. He told that he first made lamps from cow dung on the occasion of Diwali, along with this he also started making pots, clocks and other items from cow dung.

How much cost should one start the business, how much profit will be there?

Karan Singh tells that any person can easily start this business in two thousand to three thousand rupees. The cost is also less in this because the farmer lives in the village and cow dung is easily available here. Natural binding is done in cow dung. For this Karan runs training programs. If we talk about the profit of this business, then the farmer can easily earn two to three times the cost from it. To increase the profit, launch your product on Hindu festivals. This will increase the chances of profit.

Keep these things in mind while making decorative items from cow dung

Karan Singh tells that first of all the farmers have to collect cow dung. Cow dung should be used of the local cow. He further said that we use only one hour old cow dung. After buying the cow dung, we dry it. The cow dung has to be dried and made into powder. After that, the cow dung is mixed with natural binding. The amount of water should be kept balanced. So that the cow dung comes in the mold properly. After this, put it in the mold. After putting it in the mold, farmers have to take care of the finishing. Along with this, coloring also has to be taken care of. Molds should be of fiber, silicon dye. If farmers want to keep their production cost low, then they can use silicon dye.

Farmers should first make diyas from cow dung, these are easily made and also get sold. After this you can also make rakhis. After this, farmers have to see its market. What is the demand in the market? Like diyas, rakhis etc. This reduces the chances of loss to the farmer.
