Born on 5 June 1995, Ramlal has started a unique agri startup based on the rare and hot species of Jaiya chilli along with farming. His initiative has become an example for local farmers and regional agriculture.
Jaiya chilli: A unique heritage
Jaiya chilli is a wild species of chilli found in the hilly areas of Chhattisgarh, which is famous for its heat and medicinal properties.

1. This chilli grows in the opposite direction of gravity (upwards).
2. Once planted, this chilli bears fruit for five years.
3. Chilli is used not only for food material, but also medicinally.
Ramlal Lahre started extracting the capsaicin compound of this chilli, which is used as a pain reliever, reducing inflammation and controlling cholesterol.
