He says, “We rear fish of different species and also take care of fertilizer and marketing in fish farming.” Apart from this, he also uses integrated fish farming in fish farming, in which plantation is also done along with fish farming.

Technological innovation in fish farming

Regarding the use of modern techniques in fish farming, Rishikesh Kashyap said that they use satellite technology, through which the quality of water can be continuously monitored. Apart from this, they also use sensor technology, which gives information about water temperature and oxygen level in advance. This technique helps in increasing the health and productivity of fish.

Due to his technical understanding and experience, he also got training from the Central Institute of Fisheries Education (CIFE), Mumbai, which helped him in his work.
