Despite having an MSc in Mathematics, he dreamed of fish farming in his fields instead of moving towards a traditional job. 12 years ago, he started this journey with his own money. Fish farming empire

Today, Madanjeet has 12 ponds and an area of ​​2 hectares, where he does fish farming on a large scale. He specializes in Rohu, Katla and Pangasius fish. Every year he produces around 400 quintals of Pangasius fish and other fish. The quality and quantity of his production has earned him the first position in IMC fish production at the district and state level.

Network outside the district and state

Madanjeet’s business is not limited to Chandauli only. He supplies fish to many parts of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. He has a strong transport network, and many buyers buy fish directly from him.

Network of live fish and finger size seeds

Madanjeet has also set up an FFPO (Farmer Producer Organization) to help the farmers. Through this, he provides finger size fish seeds. This effort to teach fish farming to farmers and make them self-reliant gives him an even more distinct identity.

A big source of employment

Madanjeet has also made his business a source of employment. He provides 200 days of employment. 8 permanent workers and 3 daily wage workers work regularly at his fishery.
